Myanmar Creative University, MCU is a learner centered, creative university, building intellectual inquiry and discovery into undergraduate , graduate and professional programs in a way that faster knowledge and innovation transforms wisdom into action. MCU provides the quality in teaching, research and learning by collaborating with our partnership international universities around the world.

The purpose of education at MCU is not only to fulfill the knowledge and skills of our students. Our education will create a human with intelligence and heart, ready for any challenges which is the goal of our practice education.

About MCU

Myanmar Creative University (MCU) is a non-profit higher educational institute and Christian Missionary University of MCMC for the youth ethnic occupational development towards the national development and peace. MCU was started as a migrant education center since 2009 and upgraded into university which is located in No.0001, University Avenue, Chancellor Road, Myawaddy District, 13052 Karen State, Myanmar. Since its inception today, youth from undeveloped areas in the border vocational education and university education by collaboration with international universities, so they were also able to carry out international education opportunities and research activities.

MCU is a missionary and development institution under the Myanmar Christ Mission Coordination Board recognized by the Archbishop of the Church of the Province of Myanmar (Anglican).

In 2020, MCU Founder, staffs and students involved in COVID 19 prevention and treatment activities as a volunteer so they were awarded by the Myanmar government and ASEAN in 2023. MCU also won the different types of award by many governmental and non-governmental organizations.

About Champion Learning Center

Champion Learning Center has been the foundation of Myanmar Creative University since 2009. Myanmar Creative University supports the expense of the learning center (e.g, clothing, food, Teaching aids, accommodation, etc.) It has been a singular non-profit learning for migrant students and is located at No.217, Moo 6, Ujarong, Tha Sai Luard, Mae Sot, Thailand, Tak.

Champion Learning Center opened in 2009 as a night school and transitioned into a day school starting in 2011. Current school complexes are 1 building with 4 classrooms, 1 building with 3 classrooms, 1 building with 2 classrooms, and a building with 2 floors that is currently under construction. Surrounded by houses and factories, Champion is in a quiet and safe environment. Most of the students’ parents are Burmese, and they have moved to Thailand either to take refuge or to seek employment. As the area around the school consists mainly of factories and farms, most parents are working the whole day and it is not possible for the parents to come to the school at lunchtime to eat with their child. So, the Champion school supports lunch for all students.
