Honor Council Member from Myanmar Creative University (MCU), Myanmar Creative College (MCC), Asso: Prof: Dr Somkiat, President Prof: Dr Saw Htay Myint, Academic Advisor Asso: Prof: Dr Nat, MCC Director Mr Phyo Wai Han visited Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, RMUTL in Chiang Mai, Thailand on (8-10-2024) at 2 pm.
Assoc: Prof: Dr. Vice President, Assistant President, Dean of Engineering met with Uthen Kamari and signed an MOU for cooperation.
and had a friendly discussion about opening an Online Bachelor Degree for International Business Management class and MCU + CMRU 2+2 classes.
The MOU outlines several key initiatives:
MCU and MCC students who have completed a 2-year diploma can further study at RMUTK for 2 more years to earn their Bachelor’s degree.
Students from MCU and MCC who hold a 3-year diploma will be able to complete their final year at RMUTK to receive their Bachelor’s degree.
MCU graduates can continue their education in Master’s and Doctoral degree programs at RMUTK in Bangkok.
Scholarships will be provided to students, and opportunities for further collaborative programs between the two universities were discussed.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by the President, Vice Presidents, and Assistant Vice Presidents of RMUTK, as well as the President of MCU and the Director of MCC.
Notable witnesses included Prof. Dr. Somkiat, former President of TSU and LRU, and prominent business professors Dr. Nat. Their presence added to the significance of the collaboration between the two universities.
The conference was jointly organized by Thaksin University (TSU), Tomsk State University (TSU), and Myanmar Creative University (MCU), along with 13 partner universities from Cambodia. Over 100 research papers and posters were presented, including 5 papers from MCU and 8 papers from MCU’s partner universities in Myanmar.
Among the papers presented, the research paper titled “Green Attitude and Green Purchase Intention towards Environmentally Friendly Products of City Marts in Yangon”, authored by Daw Shun Latt Wai, Co-Author Dr. Saw Htay Myint, and Co-Author Dr. Ye Win Aung, won the Good Presenter Award.
During the paper presentations, Prof. Dr. Saw Htay Myint, President of Myanmar Creative University (MCU), participated in the event alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lyudmila Tkachenko from Tomsk State University (Russia), Prof. Dr. M. Shabri from Malaysia, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mutasim Billah Tufail from Pakistan, contributing as a distinguished speaker in the sessions.
The conference was jointly organized by Thaksin University (TSU), Tomsk State University (TSU), and Myanmar Creative University (MCU), along with 13 partner universities from Cambodia. Over 100 research papers and posters were presented, with 13 papers from Myanmar. MCU contributed 5 papers, while partner institutions submitted 8 papers.
This conference provided a valuable platform for international collaboration and the sharing of innovative research to advance the Thai economy and beyond.
In addition, discussions were held regarding internship opportunities for Myanmar Creative University students, through the joint programme between TGBATC and MCU, in countries such as Thailand and Australia.

🏠 On October 28, 2023, the College of Management for Development, together with executives, staff, and alumni, held a ceremony to bless the office of the Center for Academic Services and Continuing Education at Phayathai Plaza Building, 14th Floor, Phayathai Road, Thung Phayathai, Ratchathewi District, Bangkok.

THE 1st INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE On ASEAN Sustainable Development (ICASD 2023)
The conference was held from July 20-21, 2023, at Crystal Hotel, Hat Yai, Songkhla, Thailand, and was co-hosted by Thaksin University alongside partner institutions such as Myanmar Creative University (Myanmar), Moncton University (Canada), Janabaadra University (Indonesia), Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta University (Malaysia), Tunku Abdul Rahman University (Malaysia), and UiTM Negeri Sembilan University (Indonesia).
During the conference, distinguished speakers presented papers, including Dr. Hidenari Yasui from the University of Kitakyushu (Japan), Dr. Lindsay Falvey from the University of Melbourne (Australia), and Dr. Yves Gagnon from the Elsevier Research Institute (Canada). Myanmar Creative University’s President, Prof. Dr. Saw Htay Myint, was invited as a keynote speaker and delivered an address. He also contributed to the research paper presentations and discussions, playing an integral role in facilitating various academic sessions during the event.
As part of this special program, a unique “credit bank system” will be implemented, allowing students to accumulate credits from certificates, ranging from completion certificates to diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, and even master’s and doctoral degrees without interruption to their professional careers. This initiative aims to provide flexible and accessible educational pathways for Myanmar students. 🎓🌍
Following detailed discussions between the representatives of Myanmar Creative University and officials from Thaksin University regarding the specific collaborative programs, Myanmar Creative University’s President, Prof. Dr. Saw Htay Myint, paid a courtesy visit to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichai Chumni, the President of Thaksin University. During this meeting, both parties discussed and confirmed the swift implementation of collaborative initiatives between the two universities.
The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Kasem Asawatreratanakul, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Wasan Kanchanamukda, Vice President for Planning and University Council Affairs from Thaksin University, along with Assist. Prof. Mr. Isarum, Director of International Relations, Lecturer Daw Htet Htet Khine, HR Executive Daw Myo Su Aung, and Mr. Saw Shar Phaung Heain, Head of Studio from Myanmar Creative University.
To explore the details of this partnership, a delegation from Myanmar Creative University visited Thaksin University from February 17 to 19, 2020. During this visit, they engaged in discussions, research activities, and explored academic programs related to public welfare, as well as opportunities for training and education in rubber production and research disciplines.
Additionally, they discussed scholarship programs for Myanmar students and the potential for offering courses in rubber-related fields and research. The goal is to implement and expand these educational opportunities, working together to achieve the shared vision for the future.
Representatives and partners from Myanmar Creative University (MCU) visited Pathumthani University (PTU) in Thailand, the parent institution of their partner university, Matebet University.
During the visit, discussions focused on the current academic programs being jointly offered through the university collaboration. These include the possibility of launching Bachelor’s degree programs for individuals with AGTI diplomas, such as BE (Bachelor of Engineering) and joint degree programs for Business and Management diploma holders, including BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and BBM (Bachelor of Business Management).
Furthermore, the delegation discussed the establishment of Students Exchange Programs, International Collaboration Programs, and reviewed the supervision and confirmation of Master’s and Doctoral degree programs. They also worked on the coordination of international curricula and programs, with a focus on ensuring effective management and quality control for teaching and learning across various global courses.
A delegation from Myanmar Creative University visited King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) in Thailand to explore potential collaborations. During the visit, discussions were held regarding the partnership to offer degree programs for those holding engineering and business diplomas, such as the AGTI certification. These include programs in BE, BBA, as well as joint degree courses.
The team also explored opportunities for Myanmar students to enroll in international programs in fields such as Biomedical Engineering, Energy Engineering, and Industrial & Technological Innovation Management. Additionally, the delegation discussed the possibility of offering combined courses in management and engineering disciplines, as well as credit transfer systems (Credit Bank and Transfer) for related courses.
Meetings were held with the Deans, Professors, and Project Directors from the Faculty of Administration and Management (FAM KMITL) and the Faculty of Engineering KMITL to align curricula and establish conditions for awarding Master’s degrees and other academic qualifications.
On February 9, 2019, Pathumthani University in Thailand hosted the 6th National and International Urban Social Development and Collaborative Dialogue Conference.
During the event, representatives from Myanmar Creative University presented papers, including “The Power of the Sea” and “Thai Politics and Buddhist Philosophy,” as well as a paper on the influence of Thai political ideology.
Pathumthani University is an internationally recognized institution and has been working in full collaboration with Myanmar Creative University. Through this partnership, 64 Myanmar students are currently enrolled in various programs at Pathumthani University, including Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering, as well as Master’s and Doctoral degree programs.
