1. Preamble
Myanmar Creative University (MCU) is a non-profit institution established with the mission of advancing education for the public good. The University is committed to providing equitable access to quality education for academically outstanding students as well as those facing financial hardship, with the aim of nurturing ethical, socially responsible, and community-oriented graduates.
This Scholarship and Financial Aid Policy is adopted to ensure transparency, fairness, and
accountability in the allocation and administration of educational support.
2. Objectives of the Policy
The objectives of this policy are to:
• Support academically outstanding and high-potential students
• Enable students from disadvantaged backgrounds to continue their education
• Promote integrity, discipline, and social responsibility among students
• Develop graduates who contribute positively to society and national development
• Strengthen MCU’s non-profit and public-benefit mission
3. Scope
This policy applies to all students applying for, receiving, or renewing scholarships offered by MCU.
4. Types of Scholarships and Financial Aid
MCU offers the following types of educational support:

5. General Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
5.1 Be enrolled or accepted in a full-time program at MCU
5.2 Meet the minimum academic requirements set by the University
5.3 Demonstrate good conduct and ethical behavior
5.4 Comply with all university rules and regulations
5.5 Show commitment to social responsibility and community service
5.6 Meet the specific criteria for the scholarship applied for
6. Application Process
6.1 Complete the official scholarship application form.
6.2 Submit the form along with supporting documents by the deadline.
6.3 Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
7. Scholarship Benefits
Scholarships may cover:
7.1. 100% Tuition Fee + Food and Accommodation Fee + Stipend
7.2. 100% Tuition Fee + Food and Accommodation Fee
7.3. 100% Tuition Fee + Food Fee
7.4. 100% Tuition Fee + Accommodation Fee
7.5. 100% Tuition Fee
7.6. 75% Tuition Fee
7.7. 50% Tuition Fee
8. Conditions for Maintaining Scholarship
Recipients must:
8.1 Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
8.2 Maintain good conduct and attendance
8.3 Participate in required university events or community service (if applicable)
9. Compliance and Termination
Scholarships may be terminated if the recipient:
9.1 Any false or misleading information shall result in immediate termination of the scholarship
9.2 Scholarships may be withdrawn in cases of academic failure or disciplinary misconduct
9.3 Scholarships shall be terminated if the recipient withdraws from the University
9.4 MCU reserves the right to amend this policy when necessary
10. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary by the Scholarship Committee in consultation with university leadership.
